To coincide with the two year anniversary of Aion being online, developer NCSoft has a few events planned.
From today (and for the next ten days) there’ll be daily in-game activities like the Ascension Festival, during which “Daevas will accumulate Ascension Energy in their cubes while adventuring throughout Atreia”. I quite literally have no idea what that means, but it certainly sounds like a happening party.
‘Welcome back’ events will run from today until early on 2 October, offering buffs and rewards (like double experience point drops) to anyone returning to the game. A full list of those activities can be read here.
In addition, update 2.7 for Aion will be going live on the Player Test Server for Europe and North America on 13 October and coming to the live server on 19 October. This adds such delights as two new Player-vs-Player arenas and a “48-person instanced boss fight in Padmarashka’s Cave”.
