A demo of THQ’s World of Zoo, containing a trial version of the game’s Animal Creator tool, has been released. The game, in development by Blue Fang, “literally” hands players keys to their own zoo, which we’re pretty sure isn’t what will actually happen.Pedantry aside, the game lets players care for over 90 animals, create and customise zoo exhibits, and learn facts (as provided by the National Geographic) about animals. You’ll have to work out what each animal likes doing and what each animal likes to play with, and earn their trust in order to unlock more items, awards, and keeper promotions. Just like real life! The Animal Creator tool lets players create and design their own World of Zoo animals. We’re not quite sure how that works, but if it’s going to let me crossbreed a lion with a blowfish, I’m all for it. You can give it a download over on the official site, and as it’s only around 90 megs, that shouldn’t take too long at all.The game itself is due out in November on Wii, DS, and PC.
