The development team now in charge of America’s Army 3 has outlined what it has in store for the future of the game. Speaking to IncGamers, Marsha Berry of the America’s Army Project Office (AAPO) Software Engineering Directorate (phew!) revealed that the team plans to add a considerable amount of content to the game.“The Army has made an investment in AA3,” said Berry.“We have a roadmap of development that we plan to execute over the next few years. This roadmap includes adding AI, vehicles, new maps, new training, new MOSs, and new Real Heroes.”“…As far as the game support, the community will see the same support they have always received from America’s Army including providing Forums, PMs, FAQs, and a Mentor Program.”The launch of America’s Army 3 did not go smoothly. The game’s civilian development team was reportedly laid off a day after the game launched and many gamers were completely unable to play the game due to overloaded servers. Since then, a new development team has been working on patches for the game which it now describes as “very stable.”Read the full interview with Berry here. Check out our review of the game here.
