Aloy from Horizon: Zero Dawn steps onto the Fortnite bus

Horizon: Zero Dawn character Aloy will soon make her way into Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6. Epic Games announced today that items from the 2017 RPG arrive in the battle royale on April 15. Players will be able to channel their inner Aloy with a full outfit and a new loading screen. Plus, new competitions give players a chance to win early access to the gear.

According to the announcement, the Aloy Outfit includes the “Blaze Canister Back Bling, Aloy’s Spear Pickaxe, Glinthawk Glider, [and] Shield-Weaver Wrap.” The bundle also comes with a Heart-rizon Emote that displays a big heart. Finally, the bundle’s Aloy the Skywatcher Loading Screen depicts the character hanging off the site of the Fortnite bus as a machine swoops in beside her. She appears ready to fight with her spear in hand. The bundle will be available for purchase in the Item Shop starting on April 15.

Horizon: Zero Dawn follows Aloy in a post-apocalyptic world as she trains to become a warrior in an ancient ritual competition. When a machine-worshipping cult attempts to assassinate Aloy during the competition, she sets out to discover why. During her quest, she destroys any machines that have turned on humans. Her sharp skills make her the perfect addition for Fortnite‘s latest theme: Primal.

Time for teamwork

The Horizon: Zero Dawn x Fortnite crossover comes with a new competition for partners. A Limited Time Mode brings together Aloy and another iconic Fortnite crossover character, Tomb Raider‘s Lara Croft. Duos players will automatically be assigned to one of these characters in a “loot-locked battle with only the craftable Bow (Aloy) and Dual Pistols (Lara).” Use wits and crafting skills to upgrade weapons and take home the Primal Victory Royale. The Team Up! Aloy & Lara Limited Time Mode runs from April 16 at 9 AM ET to April 18 at 9 AM ET.
