Completing the Vortex Death’s Grip event in Modern Warfare 3 will earn players a total of 10 rewards. Each reward is tied to three challenges (one for each mode), but the good news is that the player only has to complete one of the three to unlock the reward and claim it.

For example, you can complete the Zombie challenge connected to the reward, instead of the Warzone challenge if that’s what you prefer. Here are all the rewards and challenges included in the Vortex Death’s Grip event in MW3:

Double XP Token

  • Get 10 operator multikills (MW3 multiplayer).
  • In Battle Royale, get three operator kills using assault rifles (Warzone).
  • Kill two enemies with a single shot 10 times (Zombies).

Cant Die, Must Party emblem

  • Get 40 hipfire kills with a suppressed weapon and the Hijacked IFF Strobe perk equipped (MW3 multiplayer).
  • In Battle Royale, get three operator kills using SMGs (Warzone).
  • Get 75 kills with a melee weapon while Aether Shroud is active (Zombies).

Death at High Noon charm

  • Get five operator kills with an extreme magnification scope equipped on a sniper (MW3 multiplayer).
  • In Battle Royale, complete two bounty contracts (Warzone).
  • Get 200 critical kills with a scoped sniper (Zombies).

See you Soon! weapon sticker

  • Get five operator double kills with a launcher (MW3 multiplayer).
  • In Plunder, get five operator kills using sniper rifles (Warzone).
  • Kill 15 Mimics (Zombies).

Double weapon XP Token

  • Get 20 operator Backstab kills with the Blacklight Flashlight perk equipped (MW3 multiplayer).
  • In Plunder, get five operator kills using shotguns (Warzone).
  • Get 200 critical kills with a silenced SMG (Zombies).

Battle pass tier skip

  • Get three operator one shot, one kills with a shotgun in one life five times. (MW3 multiplayer).
  • In Battle Royale, complete two Most Wanted contracts (Warzone).
  • Get 200 one shot, one kills with a Pack-a-Punched sniper (Zombies).

Put Em Up! Large Decal

  • Perform 10 operator executions. (MW3 multiplayer).
  • In Resurgence, get three operator kills using Battle Rifles (Warzone).
  • Get 10 consecutive kills without taking damage 10 times with a melee weapon (Zombies).

Double Battle Pass XP Token

  • Get 25 operator kills with throwing knives or melee weapons (MW3 multiplayer).
  • In Resurgence, get three operator kills using LMGs (Warzone).
  • Get 120 zombie kills with throwing knives (Zombies).

Four Horsemen, One Winner calling card

  • Spot 20 operators with the Tactical Camera or Recon Drone Field Upgrades (MW3 multiplayer).
  • In Resurgence, complete one Big Game bounty contract (Warzone).
  • Get 200 kills with Jugger-Nog active (Zombies).

Additionally, players can earn the Mastery Reward upon completing all challenge sections. The Mastery Reward is the “Press F” blueprint for the SVA-545. You can get a glimpse of this rare blueprint in the X post below.

How long does the Vortex Death’s Grip event last in MW3?

The Vortex Death’s Grip event in MW3 begins on July 10, 2024, and runs until July 24, 2024. This gives players over two weeks to complete all the new challenges and earn event rewards. At the time of writing, it is undetermined if the Vortex Death’s Grip rewards will be available in the future after the event ends.
