All trial chamber vault loot in Minecraft

Is it worth fending off the waves of monsters?

This should come as no surprise, but the point of the chambers in Minecraft is to open the vaults to collect sweet, sweet loot. But how sweet is the loot, and is it worth taking on a trial chamber for?

How to open trial chamber vaults in Minecraft

Vaults are like loot crates that you will find scattered around the trial chambers in Minecraft. They can be used once by each player, allowing for as many pulls as there are players. To unlock a vault to receive the rewards, you need to find and use a Mysterious Trial Key.

You will find these as a rare drop from trial spawners. Once you beat all that a trial spawner has to give, it will spit out an item for you. If you’re lucky, you’ll be awarded a Mysterious Trial Key. Find the nearest vault and use the key on it to get your rewards.

How to open ominous vaults

If you use the ominous bottle to turn a trial chamber into an ominous trial chamber, you’ll come across ominous vaults. These vaults will give out better and exclusive rewards, but can’t be opened with a Mysterious Trial Key.

You’ll need an Ominous Trial Key, which is a rare reward from ominous trial spawners. So, essentially, beating the ominous spawners will eventually allow you to open an ominous vault for those enhanced goodies.

A vault in a Minecraft trial chamber can give up to three items when a player opens it with a Mysterious Trial Key for the first time. Any subsequent attempts by the same player will not work.

Here is a list of all the possible rewards in a vault:

  • Arrow
  • Arrow of Poison
  • Iron Ingot
  • Honey Bottle
  • Ominous Bottle
  • Shield
  • Enchanted Bow

As you can see, there is an abundance of incredible items that can be awarded from regular trial chambers.

It’s worth noting that the Music Disk, Smithing Template, and Banner Pattern, are all exclusive rewards from the trial chamber vaults.

However, the rewards for the ominous vaults are even better.
