Unlocking new Summons like Titan in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth requires you to beat them in battle first, but fighting them at their full power is way too hard for most players. Thankfully, you can weaken Summons by finding Summon Crystals scattered throughout the world.
Each region of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has three Summon Crystals to find, marked on the map as “Divine Intel.” By approaching these sanctuaries and completing a short puzzle, you can weaken Summons to make the upcoming showdown much easier. If you want to weaken Titan and unlock your very first Summon in Rebirth, you’ll need to find three Titan Sanctuaries throughout the Grasslands region.
Titan Summon Crystal Location #1
The first Titan Summon Crystal is located on the eastern coast of the Grasslands near the Chocobo Ranch and Moogle Hut. There’s a Chocobo Stop nearby and it’s not too far off the beaten path, so you should be able to find it easily without going too far out of your way.
Titan Summon Crystal Location #2
You can find the second Divine Intel for Titan in the swamp located in the southern part of the Grasslands. You’ll need a Chocobo to safely cross the swamp, so make sure you’ve visited the Chocobo Ranch and wrangled your first Chocobo before trying to collect this one.

You’ll need to climb some very clearly marked yellow handholds to reach this Titan Sanctuary. If you get lost, break one of the glowing rocks in the area and you’ll be directed straight to the Summon Crystal.
Titan Summon Crystal Location #3
The third and final Titan Summon Crystal is located in the northwestern desert region of the Grasslands. To get there, fast travel back to Kalm and then head out of the western gate onto the highway that leads back to Midgar. Use a Chocobo to jump down from the highway and make your way to the southwestern cliffside to find this Titan Sanctuary.
After finding and analyzing each Summon Crystal, Titan will grow progressively weaker. You can still battle him at full strength if you choose, but that’s best saved for later on once you’ve figured out the best party composition in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
