In Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, you’ll be exploring the Land of Shadows. To help guide your path, you’ll need to find map fragments to uncover this mystical land bit by bit.
Each of the five areas in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree only have one map fragment. Once you get that map fragment, you unlock the ability to see the area on your map. Spoilers ahead, naturally.

All Graveyard Plain map fragments in Shadow of the Erdtree
There is only one map fragment for the Graveyard Plain in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.
This map fragment uncovers the whole of Graveyard Plain, and can be found on the path leading up to the Scorched Ruins, just north-east from the Graveyard Plain site of grace as pictured above.
All Scadu Atlus map fragments in Shadow of the Erdtree
There is only one map fragment needed to uncover all of the Scadu Atlus in Shadow of the Erdtree.
This map fragment uncovers the whole of the Scadu Atlus, and can be found in the fork in the road far north of the Highroad Cross site of grace. You will need to pass through Castle Enis to access this area.
All Southern Shore map fragments in Shadow of the Erdtree
There is only one map fragment needed to uncover all of the Southern Shore in Shadow of the Erdtree.
This map fragment will reveal all of the Southern Shore, and can be found right in the middle of the region. There are a couple of ways to get there, as it is south of Graveyard Plain and west of the Abyssal Woods. Be sure to look out for all the Miquella Crosses, too.
All Ruah Ruins map fragments in Shadow of the Erdtree
There is only one map fragment needed to uncover all of the Ruah Ruins in Shadow of the Erdtree.
This map fragment will show you all of the Ruah Ruins region, although getting to it is a little more convoluted. It is currently recommended to travel to the Moorth Ruins site of grace (in Scadu Atlus) and head north-east to find a hidden cave.
There, you’ll find a tunnel that will take you to the Ancient Ruins Base. Finally, keep traveling along the canyon and you’ll find the monolith with the map fragment.
All Abyssal Woods map fragments in Shadow of the Erdtree
There is only one map fragment needed to uncover all of the Abyssal Woods in Shadow of the Erdtree.
This map fragment will present all of the Abyssal Woods, and it can be found right next to the Church Ruins site of grace. Keep traveling south-east when you enter the Abyssal Woods, and you’ll find it.
Now that you know where all the map fragments lie in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, you’ll be able to navigate your way a little easier. Although you’ll have to come across some fearsome bosses to get to them all.
