Rebirth Island is a great setting for Resurgence in Warzone Season 3. If you want to use map knowledge to your advantage, here are all the Rebirth Island underground routes in Warzone, listed.
What are the underground routes in Rebirth Island?
The Rebirth Island map in-game is helpful but omits a few important details about the locale. One of the biggest is the location of three underground routes beneath the map. You can use these to flank your opponents or disappear entirely.
Even if you’re not going to use them, it’s good to know about them so your opponents can’t use map knowledge against you. You can also use these routes to navigate to Biometric Scanners should you need them.
All underground locations on Rebirth Island
I’ve labeled the entrance and exit for each route on the map with a more detailed explanation underneath. These routes are useful and will surely bamboozle your opponents in a gunfight.
#1 Harbor route
This route is unique as it’s underwater and is a great escape tool if you have a rough time at Harbor or Chemical Eng. The only way to access this route is by diving into the water and swimming into the pipes. I’ve taken some pictures of what the entrances look like above.
I don’t use this route often, as it takes you out of the fight for a while, but I’ve never seen any players down here. If you need to disengage and wait for the Resurgence timer, this is one of the best places on Rebirth Island.
#2 Prison Route
Prison is usually the hottest POI on the map, as its multi-level layout allows for some incredible gunfights. If you need to disappear quickly or sneak in, this route is for you.
There’s an entrance outside to the northwest and another in the shower room on the lower floor of the Prison. The outside entrance isn’t hidden, but I rarely see players around here as it’s in an open field.
The Prison is a maze until you’ve been there a few times but I recommend suffering through it as many Resurgence matches are decided here.
#3 Industry Route
This route is a little confusing. The northmost entrance is through a pipe underwater, while the other is through a door at ground level. The issue is there are a couple of rooms underwater, and it’s easy to get lost.
If you swim to the furthest room, you’ll likely drown. At the time of writing, I can’t find another way out. You could use this to your advantage against persistent chasers, as they likely won’t know the path underwater.
Rebirth Island is a much smaller map than Urzikstan, but there’s plenty to see and do. Don’t forget to land with your squad for the Supply UAV bonus, another hidden addition to Season 3.
