Where to find all Oil Fields in Once Human

Oil fields can be tricky to locate, for they aren’t the most obvious geological features to track down in Once Human. However, they are widely available in a specific stretch.

Below, you can see the large network of oil fields in Once Human that spans across the Blackheart Region and Red Sands.

Upon setting up a crude oil farm in and around what looks like a winding river, you’ll be able to collect crude oil from the ground. Do note that other players trying to collect crude oil will have bases set up around this area, especially the Blackfell Oil Fields, so be wary.

You can use the string of other players’ crude oil farms to pinpoint where the precise locations are for crude oil, but if you’re on a PvP server, you’ll need to be careful.

Best Crude Oil farm in Once Human, explained

Once you’ve moved your base, or set up a new one, in the right place, you can begin production. The first step is gathering the crude oil, which is done by Water Pumps, interestingly. It takes five minutes for one pump to produce one barrel, so place as many as you need.

Then, you’ll need the Refining Facility to turn the crude oil into portable mixed fuel, so make sure you’ve unlocked it and have placed them down. It will take one Refining Facility an hour to turn ten crude oil into five portable mixed fuels.

So for a perfect balance of crude oil to portable mixed fuel, make sure to have five pumps and six facilities, and scale up evenly for bigger operations. This will produce a whopping 720 portable mixed fuel per day if production never stops.

Although this is a relatively passive way to farm and refine crude oil in Once Human, you may be better off looting cars.
