Harness the power of the gods in Fortnite with Mythics like Zeus’ Thunderbolt and Hades’ Harbinger SMG. The gods did have guns, right? This guide covers the locations of every Mythic in Fortnite Chapter Five Season Two: Myths & Mortals.
Five Mythics are currently available to collect on the Island, with more to come in later updates. Click on your weapon of choice below to jump straight to its place on the page.
How to get Zeus’ Huntress DMR in Fortnite
Summon Zeus through his Altar in the throne room of Mount Olympus and defeat him to collect Zeus’ Huntress DMR and the Thunderbolt of Zeus Mythic weapon. He also drops the Aspect of Speed, allowing you to run faster and jump higher at the cost of being marked on the map.
How to get the Thunderbolt of Zeus in Fortnite
As mentioned above, the Thunderbolt of Zeus is obtainable by defeating Zeus. But if you don’t feel like facing a god, you can also grab this mythic from chests or as floor loot if you’re lucky. God Chests are your best bet if you’re in a rush to grab a Thunderbolt to complete a quest.
With the Thunderbolt in hand, you can leap into the air and throw lightning bolts at enemies that dare to tread the ground beneath. The downside is that you’re entirely exposed while up in the air until all three bolts are thrown. Use it wisely!
How to get Ares’ Warforged Assault Rifle
Summon Ares through his Altar in the middle of Brawler’s Battleground and eliminate him to collect Ares’ Warforged Assault Rifle. The god of war also drops the Aspect of Combat, which increases weapon damage but marks your location on the map for all players.
How to get Cerberus’ Gatekeeper Shotgun
Cerberus is available to summon at his Altar in the epicenter of Grim Gate. Put him down to loot Cerberus’ Gatekeeper Shotgun and the Aspect of Agility, giving you access to an “Underworld Dash” and highlighting your location on the map.
How to get Hades’ Harbinger SMG
Hades‘ boss altar is found in the throne room of The Underworld in the northwest. Summon and defeat Hades to collect Hades’ Harbinger SMG, Chains of Hades, and the Aspect of Siphon, which restores health when eliminating enemies.
How to get the Chains of Hades
While not Mythic rarity, the Chains of Hades are a unique item that fits the bill. They can be found by defeating Hades, looting Chests, and as regular floor loot. Once you have your hands on them, the Chains of Hades can be used Scorpion-style to pull enemies toward you, putting them in range for its devastating melee attacks. Outside of battle, they can even be used to fish in Fishing Spots. How cute!
How to get Korra’s Mythic (Waterbending) in Fortnite
Korra’s Mythic is showcased in the Chapter Five Season Two trailer, though Avatar fans will have to wait for a mid-season update before learning how to waterbend. Keep an eye on this article once Korra (and other Avatar characters) arrive on the Island.
