Season 1 Reloaded has arrived in MW3, and it’s brought in a whole spread of new maps, tweaks, and, of course, guns. These have been introduced to freshen up the battlefield a bit and shake up the meta of the game.
All new weapons for MW3 Season 1 Reloaded
New weapons are always a great way to disrupt the meta in MW3. There are always favorites for Zombies, Warzone, and Multiplayer that dominate on the field. However, with the introduction of these two new guns to Season 1 Reloaded, there are some new, powerful contenders in the mix.
TAQ Evolvere
The TAQ range of weapons has always been beast in the right hands. In MW3, the TAQ Erdicator has been sitting in my Warzone loadout for almost as long as I have had it available to use. We have a guide on the best loadout for the TAQ Eradicator here.
The TAQ Evolvere is another LMG for the list, yet again making the weapon class more practical in PvP. LMGs are known for being slow and unwieldy, but the TAQ Evolvere subverts this rule. The new gun for MW3 Season 1 Reloaded is marked for its versatility and ability to fire both 5.56 and 7.62 rounds.
Unlocking the new Season 1 MW3 gun isn’t too difficult, either. You simply need to complete any of the five weekly challenges from week 7. These can be completed in Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone.
HRM-9
Shaking up the already overstrained world of SMGs comes the new HRM-9 gun to MW3. The SMG meta has been causing enough grief on the PvP fields without adding another fast-firing, spray-and-pray monster to the lineup. The HRM-9 has an incredibly high fire rate and a rather significant amount of damage to boot. With a few modifications, the range and magazine size will easily be able to make it a real contender.
I have no doubt the HRM-9 will be one of the new favorite guns for MW3 Season 1 Reloaded. However, it takes a little more work than the previous one to unlock. You will first have to unlock an adjacent tile to it in the Battle Pass. Then, you must complete all the challenges in the tier, finally unlocking the new MW3 Season 1 gun at the end. Then, if you’re brave enough, you can try out your new guns in MW3 ranked play.
