Melve is a small village in Dragon’s Dogma 2, although it’s very prone to dragon attacks. To help you get the most out of Melve, I’ve collated all the side quests that are attached to it.
All quests in Melve in Dragon’s Dogma 2
You pass through Melve in Dragon’s Dogma 2 upon landing in Vermund on your way to Vernworth. The town may be small, but there is a lot for you to do there, and a lot of chests to plunder.
Remember that not all quests in Melve can be accessed at all times, and you may have to be at a certain place in the right time to access it. As the story moves on, some quests may become unavailable. I’ll try my best to list how to start the quests without spoiling anything.
Please note that all the following lists may not be fully complete. As more is discovered about the game, there may have been extremely specific quests that escaped the team. As these become public information, I’ll be sure to update them.
Also, there may be another quest that concerns Melve, but doesn’t start in Melve. To avoid confusion, I’ll only be listing quests that start in and around Melve in this list.
Quest Name | Quest Location |
Nesting Troubles | Speak to Lennart before leaving for Vernworth at the beginning of the game. |
Medicament Predicament | Speak to the little girl outwardly asking for assistance outside of Runne’s Apothecary. |
Brothers Brave and Timid | Speak to Ian near the exit of Melve. |
Readvent of Calamity | Triggered upon returning to Melve after some days. |
Home is where the Hearth is | Speak to Lennart some days after the Readvent of Calamity is completed, and/or after Captain Brant suggests you pay Melve a visit. |
All quests involving Melve in Dragon’s Dogma 2
There are other quests that involve Melve which can easily be missed.
Below are quests in Dragon’s Dogma 2 that don’t start in Melve, but do involve you heading over.
Quest Name | Quest Location |
In Dragon’s Wake | This quest is unavoidable at the beginning of the game. |
Oxcart Courier | You may be approached by someone near the Oxcart to Melve from Vernworth after some days after arriving in Vernworth in the morning. |
There really aren’t many quests in Melve, but the story is awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed playing through the arc to its conclusion. At least what I believe to be the conclusion. Time will tell, as it always does in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Ulrika is the star of the show in the Melve quest lines, naturally. Many will be wondering whether she is available as a romance partner, but that’s another matter.
