The Illusory Maze puzzle is a set of challenges for the Foxian Tale of the Haunted event. You have to solve these puzzles during the Sojourners’ Ghastly Reverie quest to proceed. Here are all the Illusory Maze Puzzle answers in Honkai: Star Rail.

To proceed with the Foxian Tale of the Haunted event, you’ll need to have cleared the Sojourners’ Ghastly Reverie quest. This quest is quite long and introduces you to Huohuo, a new playable character. But to proceed, you’ll have to clear a series of puzzles. You’ll be taken to a strange plane of existence haunted by spirits, and to escape, you’ll have to beat these puzzles.

Note: The event has limited-time rewards that run from November 15 until December 25. However, a portion of the event will remain playable after December 25 as a permanent gameplay addition, which should include this quest.

The first puzzle you’ll encounter during this quest is a series of doors that you’ll have to figure out how to go through. The trick here is to look for the door with only one lantern above it. Taking the other doors with two lanterns above them will send you back to the start of the maze. Go through the door with one lantern and proceed.

For the next puzzle, you’ll see a number of vases. Each vase has a different color: red or blue. You’ll find a nearby note that gives you the correct instructions if you look hard enough, but here’s the quick answer: break the red vases and keep the blue vases intact.

The next puzzle is a series of treasure chests that are all mixed up together. You’ll have to open one specific treasure chest, but there’s only one answer each time: the Basic Treasure box in the middle. Open that one and then head south for your next puzzle.

Here, there are some more vases for you to break. Only this time, you’ll have to break the blue vases and leave the red vases intact.

The last puzzle is a series of mirrors. You’ll have to enter each mirror in a specific sequence to escape to the final boss, which will allow you to leave this maze. First, enter the left mirror and then the center mirror. Afterward, you’ll have to investigate each mirror. After you do, turn around and enter a fourth mirror that spawns behind you.

You’ll have to talk to a few more characters and beat a boss after clearing these puzzles, but that’s the end of the puzzles you’ll have to solve. Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.5 is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android.
