In Pokemon GO, Ditto remains as elusive as ever. Not only does it have disguises that you’ll need to get past to catch one, but they’ll change from time to time, too. Here are all of Ditto’s disguises for this month.
All Ditto Disguises in Pokémon GO
In Pokemon GO, the Ditto takes the forms of many other Pokémon, to confuse you and to make catching it a rather hard task. You’ll never see a Ditto in its original form, so you’ll have to keep catching the Pokémon that it disguises in the hopes that it’s secretly a Ditto.
What’s more, is that now and then the Ditto will change which Pokémon it wants to dress up as, making the guesswork even harder. But don’t worry, as here are all of the Ditto disguise Pokémon for this month:
- Oddish
- Koffing
- Rhyhorn
- Goldeen
- Numel
- Bidoof
- Solosis
- Stufful
- Bergmite
The above information was provided by Leek Duck, which has proved a reliable source time and time again for such matters.
Also, since the Season of Mischief, there is a chance that your Ditto will be a Shiny Ditto! Dittos can’t disguise as Shiny Pokémon, so don’t think that a Shiny Disguise Pokémon has a chance of turning into a Shiny Ditto.

Catching a Ditto in Pokémon GO
Catching a Ditto in Pokémon GO is tricky yet also easy. Considering a Ditto will only appear around you under the guise of another Pokémon, you’ll have to simply tap on every one of its disguised Pokémon when you see them.
However, you’ll simply have to catch them to find out if that Pokémon is a Ditto. There is no other way to find out or probe if they are the Ditto, so you’ll have to hope that you get lucky. There is a very slim chance of a Pokémon being Ditto, so you may have to catch a lot!
Upon catching a Ditto Pokémon, you’ll be met with a message that says “Oh?”, and you’ll see before your very eyes a Ditto take the place of the former Pokémon like magic.
One can’t exactly hunt for a Ditto, but knowing the disguises will allow you to save time and Pokéballs on Pokémon that have no chance of being a Ditto. Now that you know all about catching the Ditto, why don’t you find out if there is a Shiny Timburr?
