DMZ tasks players and their squads to tackle various tasks across multiple maps. These can be anything from rescuing hostages to blowing up armored vehicles. On the less extravagant side of things, you might be tasked with stowing items in Dead Drops. The issue with these is they aren’t marked on the map, and you can spend hours looking for them. If you don’t want to trawl each location aimlessly, let me show all Dead Drop locations in Warzone 2 DMZ.
All Dead Drop locations in Warzone 2 DMZ
There are several Dead Drops on each map, resembling wheelie bins. You can tell a Dead Drop by the white outline when you get close, but if you don’t want to get that friendly with the garbage service of each map, let me show you every location map by map. Part of the Battle Plans quest requires you to use a Dead Drop to deliver intel; check out our guide on how to acquire the Battle Notes.

What’s the point of a Dead Drop?
Stowing items in Dead Drops can reduce the cooldown of your Insured Slots, but I wouldn’t recommend it as there are far more productive ways to spend your time. A few missions require specific items to be stowed in Dead Drops, but besides that, they are an underused mechanic in DMZ.
