Indoctrinating followers into your newly made cult just got a lot more interesting. We’re going to strap ourselves in and take a look at all Cult of the Lamb Sins of the Flesh DLC updates.
While this isn’t the in-depth patch notes that we’ll most likely get when the update launches on January 16, we’ll be going over the biggest changes. Starting first with some quality-of-life updates.
Cult of the Lamb Sins of the Flesh DLC — same cult, new updates
One of the biggest features releasing alongside Cult of the Lamb Sins of the Flesh, is the new progression system for your followers. Where before you could only manage the most basic of features on a follower, this new system promises to include an all-new leveling system as well as benefits for using certain characters for events (rituals, building structures, etc).

Furthermore, your cult members will receive a bit more intelligence in their daily duties. For example, new tiers for the Janitor Station and Storage provide your cultists with more ways to improve their overall quality of life. And when your people feel the call of nature, they will now have a chance to drop some shiny poop, which can be used to increase crop production. Lastly, you are now able to do your chores more efficiently with the help of broom XP. By increasing your broom XP, you can clean up around your cult faster, and tidy things up quicker before going on your next run.
Cult of the Lamb Sins of the Flesh DLC — new features
As far as brand-new items and features go in Sins of the Flesh, cultist members are finally able to “do the deed” and produce offspring. While nothing explicit is shown in the game, after two members develop feelings for each other, they will find an egg. You can take care of the egg and once enough time has passed, you’ll have a brand new member to indoctrinate into your cult.
Aside from this, a new Tailor building is available, allowing players to customize their cult members’ outfits with a total of 23 different styles to choose from. Finally, a brand-new weapon called the Blunderbuss can be used during your crusades. Touted as a shotgun-like weapon, the Blunderbuss deals significant damage at close range as well as doing decent sniping damage from a distance. What’s more, you can even charge up the weapon with a heavy attack to deal massive damage. All this and so much more is yours to explore in the all-new Cult of the Lamb Sins of the Flesh DLC.
