All Celestial and Hypogean Heros and how to get them in AFK Journey

Become unstoppable.

Most heroes can be pulled from the regular banners in AFK Journey, but the Celestial and Hypogean ones can only be acquired through the Stargaze Station. There is no doubt these heavenly bodies are some of the most powerful, but managing to get them is no simple task.

How to get Celestial and Hypogean Heroes in AFK Journey

Pulling regular Heros in AFK Journey will require Invite Letters and Epic Invite Letters depending on which banner you’re pulling from. However, if you want to pull Heroes from the ethereal plane to fight on your side, you will have to acquire a whole new currency.

Beside the All-Hero Recruitment and Epic Recruitment banner you will notice the Stargaze Station. Here, you can pay to have the chance to add a Celestial or Hypogean Hero to your team. I say chance because, despite the high cost, the chance of actually getting a Hero is only 3.25%. Here are the statistics of what you can pull from the Stargaze Station.

How to upgrade fast in AFK Journey

  • Celestial and Hypogean Hero: 3.25%
  • Dazzling Stone x5: 0.5%
  • Dazzling Stone x1: 3%
  • Ruins Stone x5: 20%
  • Ruins Stone x1: 20%
  • Diamond X9,999: 0.1%
  • Diamond X6,666: 0.5%
  • Diamond X3,000: 0.5%
  • Omni Acorn x4: 20%
  • Omni Acorn x2: 42.4%

It is also possible to acquire both the Celestial and Hypogean Heroes from AFK Journey events. Keep an eye out for them being offered as prizes. The Rewards Preview will let you know if the event offers them.

Stargaze Station currency

To even have a slim chance of pulling a Celestial or Hypogean Hero in AFK Journey, you will need to spend the required Stellar Crystals. These are incredibly hard to get and will not be available until late in the game. You will find them in the Guild Store, Recruitment Store, and a few late-game quests and events. You can buy them in these places.

  • Guild Store – 400 Crystals
  • Recruitment Store – 620 Tokens
  • In-Game Store – They cost real money, and a lot of it. I wouldn’t recommend this option.

Celestial and Hypogean Hero tier list

Even pulling either one of these Heroes is a marvel, so whatever you end up with is going to be a blessing. However, some are better than others. Just keep your fingers crossed you end up with one. Here they are, in ascending order.

4. Berial

This Hypogean Hero is surprisingly underpowered for how difficult it is to get your hands on in AFK Journey. They work as an assassin, focusing their attack on one particular enemy. However, they fail at damaging grouped teams, and despite their single enemy focus, they’re terrible at attacking bosses.

3. Scarlita

Scarlita is one of the Celestial Heroes available in AFK Journey and plays as both a buff and an attack for the team. She will initially fly up into the air, providing shielding for your whole team. After a time, she will descend to deliver huge damage to the opposition. However, she requires a lot of leveling up to get to her prime, and this is not easy with Celestial Heroes.

2. Dionel

Dionel hands out some of the hardest hits in the game, and only goes from strength to strength if you’re able to upgrade. As a DPS character, you can’t find much better, but he will need some kind of tank to absorb incoming damage.

1. Reiner

This Hypogean Hero is by far the best character in the game. However, due to his almost impossible chance of being pulled, you’ll never see him on any lists. Reiner can switch from the friendly line to the enemy line seamlessly, completely disrupting formations and delivering huge damage across the board.
