There are many different types of spells in Baldur’s Gate 3. In the Dungeons & Dragons fifth edition rules, spells can have multiple levels, and there are also cantrips. But what about Ritual spells? You’ll notice that certain spells have the Ritual tag on them, but you should understand what they all do and why they’re so important. Let’s go over all Baldur’s Gate 3 Ritual spells and why they differ from normal spells.
Baldur’s Gate 3: All Ritual spells explained
First and foremost, Ritual spells in Baldur’s Gate 3 are spells that don’t expend a spell slot to cast, although they do take longer to cast. This means that you can’t just cast them in combat, you need to cast them out of combat. Although that may bore you, I promise nearly all of the Ritual spells are highly useful in many situations. Here are all the Baldur’s Gate 3 Ritual spells.
