These might come from a different time, but man are they shiny! Here are all the Ancient Ruins Artifacts locations in Lightyear Frontier.

Lightyear Frontier: All Ancient Ruins Artifact locations

Call me crazy, but an aspect I love about open-world games is collect-a-thons. Once you get to visit Pine Heights to restore it, you will come across some strange and mysterious Ancient Ruins that house what are described as Strange Rocks. However, when you crack these, you will unveil Artifacts that serve a purpose.

Now, what is the purpose? I have no idea, but they look nice, and collecting them all surely is the digital equivalent of a sugar rush. Or maybe it’s my OCD that won’t have me leave anything incomplete.

Anyway, if you are struggling with it by yourself or with friends, here are all the Artifact locations in the Ancient Ruins in Lightyear Frontier.

Ancient Ruins Artifact #1

The very first one is quite obvious since it is just lying on top of a falling pillar in front of what appears to be a giant door in the whole Ancient Ruins area.

Ancient Ruins Artifact #2

The second Artifact is just behind and above the first one. Head to the left and you will see a small slope made out of rubble that will get you on the same level as the second Artifact in your collection. Just head to the right and find it.

Ancient Ruins Artifact #3

Now, return from where you came from and move to the opposite side through all the rubble and you will find the third Artifact just behind a cracked wall.

Ancient Ruins Artifact #4

Jump down but stay close to the wall and you will see the fourth artifact just behind another ruin wall.

Ancient Ruins Artifact #5

Continue to move forward in the Ancient Ruins area and you will see another slope and rubble making a very basic platforming section. Get to the top and you will see the fifth Artifact waiting for you.

Ancient Ruins Artifact #6

Don’t jump down just yet! The sixth Artifact is in this same area. Just move forward and take a left and you will see it edge of the hill.

Ancient Ruins Artifact #7

Drop down and head inside of the ruin walls that make up a cube of sorts. Don’t worry, there is a huge opening you can go through and collect the seventh Artifact.

Ancient Ruins Artifact #8

Just to the right of the walls mentioned before, you will find an opening on the wall of the mountain. Head inside and you will eventually arrive at an enclosed room. The eighth Artifact is just above you.

Ancient Ruins Artifact #9

The final Artifact in the Ancient Ruins is on the opposite side of the enclosed room.

After you collect all Artifacts, you will unlock a cosmetic called Strange Table. Is it worth it? Well, for completionists’ sakes, of course, but once the full-game version of Lightyear Frontier this might change.
