Becoming a true Warrior of Light is never easy. It requires sacrifice, devotion, and some Mountain Dew if you want some free rewards. But before you go blazing into Dawntrail, you might want to tidy up around other locations. We’re going to take it back to where it all began (again), and show you all A Realm Reborn (ARR) Hunt Mark locations in Final Fantasy XIV.
How to unlock The Hunt in Final Fantasy XIV
A Realm Reborn was the first time players were introduced to the Hunt system. This system acts as a bounty mechanic on NPC enemies where you must defeat specific enemies in certain areas in order to obtain currency to spend on gear, items, furnishings, and even minions. The currency of choice in ARR is Allied Seals, which you can start earning by picking up marks at the Hunt Board in your respective Grand Company HQ.
But before you can start grabbing these bounties, you have to complete a few prerequisite tasks. First, you must ensure you reach Second Lieutenant rank in your Grand Company.
Once this has been accomplished, you must complete a quest called Let the Hunt Begin to unlock The Hunt feature. Here are all the locations for the quest based on the Grand Company you joined:
Grand Company | NPC | Quest Giver Location |
---|---|---|
Twin Adder | Scarlet | New Gridiania (X: 9.9, Y: 11.4) |
Malestrom | Trachraet | Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (X: 12.7, Y: 12.7) |
Immortal Flames | Mimio Mio | Ul’dah – Steps of Nald (X: 8.6, Y: 9.4) |
All FFXIV ARR Hunt Mark Locations
Now that you’ve unlocked the ability to collect Hunt Marks, it’s time to go hunting. This can take quite a while if you’re trying to stack a decent amount of Allied Seals, so it’s best to know where you need to go beforehand. That’s why we’ve set up a list for every single Hunt Mark location throughout ARR.
A couple of things to keep in mind before searching for these enemies: First, certain enemies on this list only spawn during their respective Fates. Each Hunt Mark that requires a Fate to spawn will have an asterisk next to its name, so keep an eye out for those when looking at the list. Without further delay, here are all Hunt Mark locations in FFXIV A Realm Reborn:
