Spider-Man 2: All 1.001.004 patch notes

While the first patch version 1.001.0002 addressed several general fixes as well as introduced various vibration settings, auto-heal, controller speaker modern, and high contrast perfect dodge, and version 1.001.003 changed the Cuban flag for a Puerto Rican flag, version 1.001.004 focus mainly on general fixes and several in-game polish changes. Most of these are focused on gameplay mechanics functionality, stability issue fixes, and game-breaking error fixes. Here are all 1.001.004 patch notes for Spider-Man 2.

General Fixes & Polish:

  • Addressed an issue where players could become stuck during the finale of Marko’s Memories
  • Addressed an issue where a boss could become stuck in geometry
  • Addressed multiple issues where the player could become stuck during the Galvanize tutorial
  • Addressed an issue where players with shortcuts enabled could become stuck in a puzzle during the New Threads mission
  • Addressed an issue where the Charge Jump would break when assigned to a shortcut
  • Addressed an issue where the Upgraded Classic suit had duplicate eye details
  • Further addressed issues where models would not load properly after long play sessions
  • Improved stability

Whether or not any issues above have affected your playthrough, Spider-Man 2 continues to be a very stable game. The only fix we are all sad about is the one that removed the ability to play as the Spider-Cube in Spider-Man 2. Its meme status will always remain in our hearts, and maybe Insomniac will reference it in future Marvel games.
