Microsoft has announced a new wave of Game Pass additions for October, with the majority hitting Game Pass for PC. Eight new titles are coming to Microsoft’s evolving Game Pass library, while select games are also leaving this month. The new titles begin to arrive for the service on October 15.
If you fancy adding a whole lot more to your backlog, all five additions for PC drop on that first day, October 15. Headlining the pack is Age of Empies III: Definitive Edition, which launches day and date on Game Pass. Just behind is Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, bringing the revamped JRPG to PC and Xbox on the same day.
Three smaller-scale titles also arrive for PC in two days. Heavo Ho, Katana Zero, and The Swords of Ditto: Mormo’s Curse will be included in your PC subscription come October 15. If you’re someone who utilizes Game Pass on other platforms, Katana Zero will also work on Xbox and Android, and Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition drops for just Xbox and PC. Three console-only additions arrive later in the month too: ScourgeBringer, Cricket 19, and Supraland.
A revolving door
As is the case with most Game Pass PC updates, new additions mean some games must leave the library. Sadly, October is a particularly big month for departures, as we say goodbye to a whopping 11 games in total. Eight of the titles are leaving the PC side of things, with the first batch going on October 15.
The first group to leave for PC are Felix the Reaper, Metro 2033, Minit, Saints Row IV: Re-Elected and State of Mind. On October 30, the 2nd wave consisting of Tacoma, The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game, and The Red Strings Club leave the PC library. For Xbox users, After Party, Lego Star Wars III, and Rise & Shine also leave on October 30. Hopefully, this mass exodus leads to a strong November for Xbox Game Pass.
