Nvidia’s GTX 960 on sale now for around £159.99

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Last week we saw the specs for the GTX 960 and today there’s more information to soak up. As we mentioned last week, Nvidia are keen to let everyone know that this GPU is great for overclocking and ideal for MOBA players because the fans won’t kick in and it’s “completely silent”.  The card is aimed at those not able to take the plunge with the more expensive 980 but want to take advantage of the Maxwell features.

The price point has been set at a very reasonable £159.99 or thereabouts which will help these fly off the shelves.

Nvidia say you can get 60 frames per second on full HD 1080p displays and it also supports DSR for that 4K experience. The 960 cards are available from today and most manufacturers are pushing their overclocking utilities to maximise on the overclocking potential of the cards.

Nvidia whipped up a video to demonstrate the 960’s features in case you have any further questions.
