Valkyria Chronicles now has an entry in the Steam store, answering some of the questions people may have had about the PC version of the game. It’s listed for sale at $20.00 USD (with 10% off for those who fancy a pre-order) and the summary blurb contains the news that all previously released DLC will be included.
These are listed as:
- Hard EX Mode (harder versions of skirmish missions in the main game)
- Edy’s Mission “Enter the Edy Detachment” (a side story campaign)
- Selveria’s Mission “Behind Her Blue Flame” (a side story campaign)
- Challenge of the Edy Detachment (six challenge missions)
But SEGA has been dispensing even more good, PC-related news on twitter, where the company’s account has been fielding questions about resolutions and frame-rates and all that good stuff.
The word on Valkyria Chronicles’ PC resolution is very encouraging. Basically, it sounds like it’ll go as high as you fancy and run at 60fps.
@RoboitoAM Valkyria supports 720p / 1080p, as well as higher resolutions depending on your max monitor resolution. 60FPS supported as well.

Later, they confirmed fully re-definable mouse and keyboard controls.
@Pilviaika remappable controls, keyboard / mouse supported, more info available as we get closer to launch.

Valkyria Chronicles is an RPG-turn-based-strategy hybrid, set in a fictional 1930s version of World War 2. I think. Having never played the original PS3 release it’s a bit hard to summarise.
The recommended PC specs have been published too and are, as you’d expect, not overly demanding. The game will be released on 11 November.
