Dark Souls 2: Crown of the Ivory King, the final piece of Dark Souls 2‘s Lost Crowns DLC trilogy, has been pushed back a week.

Previously scheduled to launch on 24 September (this Wednesday), Crown of the Old Ivory King has now been delayed until 30 September (next Tuesday). While Dark Souls 2 fans eager for the last part of the Lost Crowns trilogy will likely be a bit disappointed, I suspect the overworked Peter Parrish is breathing a sigh of relief. Unless he’s expecting to have loads to do next week, anyway, in which case he’s probably sobbing into a pillow.

Crown of Old Ivory King sees players exploring a winter wonderland full of crystal horses and ice golems… and a big, gloomy castle. And probably quite a lot of YOU DIED. We’re guessing it’s accessible through the Shrine of Winter (which has a snake altar and is winter-themed), although there are a few other possibilities. Let’s just hope it’s not in Brightstone Cove Tseldora or I will never ever play this DLC.
