Heroes of the Storm battlegrounds mapped out

Blizzard want to show you what’s inside Heroes of the Storm Battlegrounds.

In an effort to show what each of the five battlegrounds look like currently in the tech alpha test, Blizzard has launched separate pages for each with a key and zoomable map. As you’d expect with any MOBA, the map layouts all look quite similar at first glance but it’s really about each map’s objective and structures of strategic points and Mercs.

• Dragon Shire
• Haunted Mines
• Cursed Hollow
• Garden of Terror

Looking at the maps form above does give a better picture of what’s going on and where you should be concentrating your efforts. Heroes of the Storm is definitely easier to pick up and play compared to DOTA 2 but I still manage to die lots much to the annoyance of the rest of my team. Perhaps I should be studying these carefully before diving back in.
