A trademark has been filed for Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. As ever, it’s superannuation that spotted the trademark, which has been filed by Jordan Mechner – the original creator of the Prince of Persia series.More interesting still is something else superannuation spotted – namely, that the LinkedIn profile for “Marc-Antoine senecal” contains mention that he has been “Working on the new Prince of Persia” from August 2009 to present, as a character modeller at Ubisoft. This has since been changed, however, to “Working on the best game ever.”Sounds like this could well be the sequel to one of last year’s Marmite games, Prince of Persia. Which, in case you’ve forgotten, is part of this week’s Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week – Gold members can download the Epilogue DLC at 30% off.
