Tucked away in part of the quarterly financial details released by publisher Take-Two today is news of a delay to Evolve. Turtle Rock’s 4-vs-1 co-op/competitive monster stalking title has just complete a weekend alpha test on PC and had previously been due to release in October.
According to the financial disclosures in this press release, that date is now 10 February 2015. The other 2K-published titles all appear to be on course for their announced dates, including GTA V’s PC version which is still listed for “Fall” (or Autumn, if you prefer.) Civilization: Beyond Earth and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel are still scheduled for October.
Evolve isn’t the only title to move from an October spot of late. Battlefield: Hardline (now 2015,) Dragon Age: Inquisition (now November) and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (now September) have all moved around in recent weeks. The month is now looking a bit less packed.
