Minato Namikaze, the Yellow Flash, the Fourth Hokage: call him what you like, but he’ll be heading to Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.

In Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, Minato will be appearing with a Reanimation Version and a Kurama Link mode. Possibly more interesting is that he’ll be taking advantage of the new Ultimate Combination Jutsu system, so – obviously – he’ll be able to unite with Naruto for some sort of spectacular attack. By himself, he’ll be able to throw out a Rasengan as well as using the space-time ninjutsu he’s more famous for. He’s usually been one of the more ridiculously powerful characters in the previous Naruto titles he’s appeared in, so it’ll be kind of interested to see how well he’s balanced here.

If you don’t know Naruto, then that last paragraph was probably a lot of blah blah blah blah. Sorry about that. The upshot is that he’s very fast, very powerful, and will be able to join up with Naruto for some even more ridiculous attacks. Which is the important thing, I suppose!

You can see screenshots of him and Naruto in action below. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is due out on 12 September, and – if you have a console – you can play a demo now. No demo for PC, I’m afraid. Sadface.
