Paradox’s Gamescom 2014 line-up includes “secret projects”

I’m not sure whether Europa Universalis will be there (unless … secret DLC?), but the rest will be.

The Paradox line-up for Gamescom 2014 is looking quite substantial, even before you factor in so-called “secret projects.” Their own Hearts of Iron IV and RPG Runemaster will be among the games shown off. Joining those two will be Paradox-published Pillars of Eternity and Magicka 2.

According to this informative bulletin that I am currently using my eyes to read, Pillars of Eternity and Runemaster will both be available to play on the Gamescom show floor. So, if you happen to be stopping by Cologne between 13-17 August and you’re allowed inside, you could have a fine old time playing some RPGs. Pillars of Eternity, of course, is the Obsidian-developed Kickstarter project.

Hearts of Iron IV will be getting a public demonstration at Paradox’s Cologne-based “Fan Gathering” event. The same event will also feature a Paradox discussion panel, where CEO Fred Wester and Paradox Development Studio’s Johan Andersson will answer questions. This will apparently offer Paradox fans the chance to “stare intently into Johan’s deep blue eyes.” So that’s a nice bonus.

If that’s of interest then you obviously need information on how to actually attend this Fan Gathering event. Luckily, Paradox have thought of that and provided the details over here. Looks like they’re about $10.00 USD.
