Goat Simulator dated for next month

Coffee Stain Studios have announced that Goat Simulator, the “world’s dumbest game”, will be launching on April 1. Assuming that’s not some sort of horrible April Fool’s joke, anyway.

Goat Simulator was originally a bit of alpha test footage put on YouTube, which was later turned into a real game due to the demands of the adoring public. It’s a title apparently inspired by skating games, in that you’re trying to score as high as you can… only instead of doing tricks on a skateboard, you’re smashing stuff with a goat. It’s hard to argue with that.

If you fancy smashing stuff as a goat (and who doesn’t?) then you’ll apparently be able to do so in less than a month. Hooray!
