1C Game Studios has announced that Premium Edition owners of IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad will be able to try their hand at the World War II aerial combat on 12 November. Those who plumped for the Standard Edition instead will be getting access at some point in December, although that date hasn’t been announced yet.
This does, of course, mean that the pre-order prices will be changing. Right now, you can still nab a Standard Edition pre-order for $49.99 or opt for the Premium Edition for $89.99, but as soon as early access begins, those prices will go up. Before too long the Premium Edition will be $94.99 USD, and – when the game launches in Spring 2014 – the Standard Edition will cost $59.99 and the Premium Edition will cost $99.99.
If you’re a fan of the IL-2 Sturmovik games and want to get in on IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad before the price goes up, have a look at the official website. For everyone else… welp, Spring 2014 isn’t too far away.
