Positech Games’ Democracy 3 is now on sale. Just like democracy in real life HA HA POLITICAL SATIRE.

Democracy 3 is a political simulator in which you take on the role of prime minister/president/other leader of a real-world modern-day country, and set about making things Better. And then, most likely, sacrificing your principles to stay in power. Or mucking up horribly and ushering in a new dark age. One or the other. Either way, there are all sorts of links and simple graphs indicating what each mandate or change you make will affect, so you’ll likely have some idea of the problems you’re about to cause. It sounds fascinating; I am honestly curious about how quickly my misguided notions of politics would lead to a national collapse.

The game will cost you around £20, and you can either buy it directly from the developer or on Steam. Note, however, that buying it direct from the developer will also net you a Steam key, which is rather neat.
