COD MW3 and Warzone Art the Clown skin: Release date, price, and contents for Terrifier bundle

Art the Clown comes to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

Halloween events are always a huge deal for Call of Duty, and this year’s Haunting brings a ton of new collaboration skins to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. One of the coolest crossovers is Call of Duty x Terrifier, which adds Art the Clown to the game in a store bundle to promote the upcoming Terrifier 3.

While the COD Season Six blog showcased all of this year’s Haunting skins like Daryl Dixon, Smile, and Trick ‘r Treat, not all of them are available at the start of the season. These skins — including the Terrifier bundle — will be released sporadically throughout The Haunting event.

COD Art the Clown release date

The Art the Clown skin will be released in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone as a part of the Tracer Pack: Terrifier bundle during The Haunting event. The Terrifier bundle doesn’t have a specific release date yet, but you can expect to see Art the Clown near the start of October if you ask us. Terrifier 3 premieres in theaters on October 11, so we expect the Terrifier bundle to be released in MW3 and Warzone that week.

The Haunting runs from September 18 through October 16 and has multiple mini-events throughout, and that gives us a pretty good idea of when this year’s new Haunting skins are set to drop. The Walking Dead: Road to Terminus event starts on September 25, for example, and that’s probably when Daryl Dixon will arrive in the COD store. The same goes for the Trick ‘r Treat: Candy Hunt event which starts on October 2, which will most likely bring Sam and the other Trick ‘r Treat skins to the shop. There’s no Terrifier event, but the film’s release date is just as concrete a hint as any.

COD x Terrifier bundle price

Activision hasn’t released the official price for the Tracer Pack: Terrifier bundle yet, but these crossover bundles typically cost 2400 COD Points. A $20 COD Point purchase will get you just enough to buy the Art the Clown skin. As per usual, there’s no way to buy the skin on its own. You have to buy the entire bundle for $20 to get the skin and additional cosmetics.

If you purchase the Tracer Pack: Terrifier bundle in Call of Duty, you’ll get the following items in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

  • Art the Clown Operator Skin
  • Terrifier RAM-7 Assault Rifle Blueprint
  • Miles County Killer WSP-9 SMG Blueprint
  • Sunny Disposition Emblem
  • Clown Cafe Large Decal
  • Little Pale Girl Weapon Sticker
  • Sienna’s Wings Weapon Charm
  • Terrifier Loading Screen

This is a Tracer Pack, so the weapons will have special tracer rounds and death effects. These haven’t been revealed yet, but expect them to be as bloody and gory as possible given the source material.

The Haunting event in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone has a ton of cool stuff to check out while you wait for Art the Clown to hit the Call of Duty store, so be sure to check out all the spooky new modes and maps while you still can. Art the Clown and any skins you buy won’t carry over to the upcoming Black Ops 6, unfortunately, but they will remain available to use in Warzone.
