Making sure you have the best meta builds in Space Marine 2 is the difference between victory and being Tyranid food. Of each of the six playable classes, these are the best loadouts you can get for guaranteed victory.
Meta PvP Multiplayer builds in Space Marine 2
Building the perfect space marine takes careful consideration if you want to come out on top in PvP multiplayer. Each class is highly specialized, and sending them into battle with the wrong gear just won’t work. Check out these meta PvP builds for Space Marine 2 and see how you fare.
The builds are significantly different from the ones used in Operations. These ones are specifically dedicated to PvP multiplayer whereas the ones for Operations are dedicated to teamwork against a common enemy. What worked for Operations may not work in your Multiplayer PvP build in Space Marine 2.
Table of contents
Tactical build
- Primary – Plasma Incinerator
- Secondary – Bolt Pistol
- Melee – Chain Sword
- Equipment – Shock Grenade
Tactical needs to play as the support for the team. They need to be fast, and make those callouts when using the Auspex Scan ability. Once enemies have been pinged on the map, a carefully placed shock grenade can neutralize multiple enemies while the rest of the squad moves in to clean up. The use of the Bolt Pistol and Plasma Incinerator makes the Tactical Space Marine versatile and deadly at mid-range.
Assault build
- Primary – NA
- Secondary – Heavy Bolt Pistol
- Melee – Thunder Hammer
- Equipment – Melta Bomb
This is easily one of the most fun classes and PvP multiplayer builds to play in Space Marine 2. Being able to get way up above the fight with the Jump Pack means that this class not only works as a spotter but also is able to bring devastating death from above. I like to play Assault with the hammer, using it to slam into groups of enemies, then, while in the fray, drop the Melta Bomb and jump-pack out again before the detonation. It’s a perfect shock-and-awe build for Space Marine 2.
Vanguard build
- Primary – Instigator Bolt Carbine
- Secondary – Bolt Pistol
- Melee – Chain Sword
- Equipment – Frag Grenade
The Vanguard’s Grapnel Launcher makes it a very fast-moving class to play. It is possible to get into and out of the action instantly. This means the build has to be versatile, working at both close range and up close and personal. The chain sword was my favorite weapon for hand-to-hand combats, with its fair parry window and impressive combos. However, the Instigator Bolt carbine is more than capable of being used in ranged fights.
Bulwark build
- Primary – NA
- Secondary – Plasma Pistol
- Melee – Power Sword
- Equipment – Krak Grenade
Armor is the name of the game with Bulwark, and this is what you need to make the most of. As a squad member, protection with the Chapter Banner and up close and personal assault is what the focus must be. The best multiplayer build for the Space Marine 2 Bulwark is all about the speed and damage of the sword, combined with the parry ability that comes with the shield. The Krak Grenade is the perfect pairing when thrown into a crowd and shielding against damage.
Sniper build
- Primary – LAS Fusil
- Secondary – Bolt Pistol
- Melee – Combat Knife
- Equipment – Melta Bomb
LAS Fusil is far and away the best sniper available for this multiplayer PvP build in Space Marine 2. It may have a slow fire rate, but it’s going to put holes in any enemy marine armor. Dropping a Melta Bomb in a strategic position and then using Camo Cloak to find a nice vantage point to snipe from will allow this build in Space Marine 2 to detonate at the opportune time and pick off stragglers afterward.
Heavy build
- Primary – Multi Melta
- Secondary – Bolt Pistol
- Melee – NA
- Equipment – Frag Grenade
Raw firepower and rage fuel this PvP multiplayer Heavy build in Space Marine 2, and it is best for cutting down swathes of enemies. Taking point with the Heavy and dropping down the Iron Halo will allow teammates to reload and regroup while the Heavy hands out some furious damage with the massive spread and knockback of the Multi Melta. The huge ammo capacity can relentlessly push enemies back from points and quickly close down choke points.
Space Marine 2 is a gorgeous game, but it is pretty taxing on even higher-end PCs. If you’re getting low FPS, screen tears, or even bad textures, there are a few things you can do to fix it.
