TopWare has announced that Two Worlds II will finally be available to the US, UK and Ireland on 25 January 2011.
The game has been available in other parts of Europe since 9 November.
TopWare Interactive has previously exchanged words with US publishing partner SouthPeak over the reasons for the delayed release schedule, and has now corrected them again. The latest press release claims that SouthPeak “has relinquished distribution rights in Ireland and the UK to TopWare” and goes on to say that “The rights were not purchased back by TopWare, as was previously reported.”
Anyway, the upshot of all of this entertaining publisher in-fighting is that Two Worlds II will be available across the US, UK, Ireland and much of Europe by 25 January 2011. Australia is still lacking a release date. The game is also available direct from Zuxxez.
