Amazon Launches Video Game Trade-In Service

Online retail giant Amazon has launched its own video game trade-in store, offering £27.74 for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood on PS3.
Customers can trade-in their old games in return for credit to their Amazon.co.uk account.
The site lists everything it accepts and, once you’ve selected what you want to trade in, it then gives you a trade-in price. From there, you send the items to them – post free- and – as long as they are in an ‘acceptable condition’ – you will receive a gift card credited to your account.
“Trading-in with Amazon.co.uk is quick and easy, providing customers with a great way to exchange their old games and save money on future purchases,” said Chris Poad, director of video games at Amazon.co.uk Ltd.
“It’s a hassle-free experience with Amazon paying for postage and putting a Gift Card straight into the customer’s account once the item is received.”
Trade-in prices are guaranteed provided that they are postmarked within seven days of submission.
