Arena Breakout Infinite healing guide: Items, keybinds, and how to do it

You can't fix a headshot, but it's a start.

The health and medicine system can be pretty overwhelming if you’re new to Extraction Shooters or Mil Sims. Let me show you everything you need to know in our Healing Guide for Arena Breakout Infinite including how to do it, items, and recommended keybinds.

How to heal in Arena Breakout Infinite

We’ll review specifics later in the guide, but the default button for general healing is “V.” You can hold V to bring up a Medicine Wheel or tap it to use healing items automatically (if you have them). The latter sounds like a great idea, but I don’t recommend it for every situation.

You have far more control over healing if you patch yourself up manually. The process will take longer to learn, but I strongly recommend memorizing what each healing item does. The auto-healing option is helpful but can be wasteful and won’t always apply items in the best order.

Patch Up

You can drag healing items to damaged body parts on the health screen of your inventory to patch yourself up. Keep in mind each item takes time to use, and you’re vulnerable while healing.

Most medical items take a toll on stats like Hydration, which requires Spring Water or another beverage to restore.

We’ll look at every healing item in the game in this guide, but the bare essentials I recommend carrying into every raid are the following:

  • Painkillers
  • Bandages
  • Standard Military Surgical Kit
  • Any Medkit
  • Any Beverage

If you’re taking damage because you can’t see your opponents, make sure you’ve got your settings dialed in.

The best order to apply healing items in Arena Breakout Infinite

Repairing body damage is a multi-step process, but you can follow these steps to patch up most injuries.

Consume Painkillers

Painkillers should be the first items you use for healing, as they let you ignore pain for a brief period. Ideally, you use Painkillers so you can run away from a bad situation before taking care of your wounds.

If you’re feeling spicy, you can use Painkillers before combat to focus on the gunfight without worrying.

Stop any bleeding with Bandages

When you’re safe, you should handle any bleeding with Bandages. You constantly lose health when you’re bleeding, and the Bandage will put a stop to that.

Repair broken body parts

If you have any broken limbs, they will be “blacked out” on the health screen. You can repair breaks with a Surgical Kit, although the process takes a while. We fix bleeds first because breaks only restore to 1HP without a Medkit. As bleeds constantly reduce HP, you could repair a body part only for it to break once again.

Restore hit points with a Medkit

Finally, restore your damaged body parts with a Medkit and Hydrate with the drink of your choice.

You should survive the gnarliest injuries if you follow these steps, but every medical item has multiple types. Naturally, you get what you pay for, but let me show you the difference between every healing item in the game.

If you want to experience Arena Breakout without a healthy supply of meds, try Covert Ops, where your kit is randomized.

All Healing Items in Arena Breakout Infinite

I’ve listed the stats for every healing item in Arena Breakout Infinite. There’s a lot to dig through, but my best advice when choosing is to invest in yourself. If splashing out on meds saves you in a gunfight, the purchase was worth every cent.

Medicine

Fast-acting Painkiller

  • Uses: 3
  • Enable Time: 3.5 seconds
  • Unaffected by pain for 180 seconds

AP Painkiller

  • Uses: 6
  • Enable Time: 5.5 Seconds
  • Unaffected by pain for 210 seconds

EX Painkiller

  • Uses: 8
  • Enable Time: 5.5 seconds
  • Unaffected by pain for 300 seconds

Anti-Inflam Painkiller

  • Uses: 3
  • Enable Time: 3.5 seconds
  • Unaffected by pain for 60 Seconds

Liquid Painkiller

  • Uses: 1
  • Enable Time: 6 seconds
  • Unaffected by pain for 270 seconds

Energy Drink

  • Uses: 1
  • Enable Time: 6
  • Unaffected by pain for 240 seconds

Painkillers are invaluable in Arena Breakout and are arguably the most crucial part of your medical kit. All the items here are decent, although I wouldn’t rely on Anti-Inflam Painkillers as 60 seconds may not be enough to disengage from a fight.

Treatments

Quick Bandage

  • Uses 1
  • Enable Time: 6.8 Seconds
  • Stops Bleeding

Field Bandage

  • Uses: 2
  • Enable Time: 6.8 seconds
  • Stops Bleeding

OPM Bandage

  • Uses: 4
  • Enable Time: 6.8 seconds
  • Stops Bleeding

Simple Surgical Kit

  • Uses: 1
  • Enable Time: 18 seconds
  • Reduces max HP by 60%
  • Repairs break

Standard Military Surgical Kit

  • Uses: 4
  • Enable Time: 13 seconds
  • Reduces max HP by 40%
  • Repairs break

TMK Military Surgical Kit

  • Uses: 8
  • Enable Time: 15 seconds
  • Reduces max HP by 20%
  • Repairs break

STO Battlefield Surgical Set

  • Uses: 12
  • Enable Time: 16 seconds
  • Repairs break with no penalty

Bandages are cheap, so I recommend the OPM Bandage for multiple uses. Any Surgical Kit is better than none, but the Standard Military Surgical Kit is the minimum I would take into a raid.

Medkits

Simple First Aid Pack

  • Restores 80HP
  • Enable Time: 2 seconds

Standard First Aid Kit

  • Restores 120 HP
  • Enable Time: 2.1 seconds

E3 Military Medkit

  • Restores 300 HP
  • Enable Time 4.1 seconds

926 Rapid First Aid Kit

  • Restores 270 HP
  • Enable Time: 3.5 seconds

100D Battlefield Medkit

  • Restores 400 HP
  • Enable Time: 4.1 seconds

STO First Aid Set

  • Restores 1200 HP
  • Enable Time: 3.3 seconds

TMK Field Medical Kit

  • Restores 960 HP
  • Enable Time: 4.1 seconds

All Medkits are viable, although the Simple First Aid Pack will only restore a single broken body part. The Standard First Aid Kit is cost-effective and only takes one Grid Space. More substantial Medkits are great but take up valuable space in your inventory.

Stimulants

Regen Booster

  • Uses: 1

  • Continuously restores HP to all body parts for 300 seconds

  • Continuously restores HP to all body parts for 180 seconds

Strength Booster

Str. Injection

  • Increases carry amount for 180 seconds.

Endurance Booster

  • Uses: 1

  • Increases max stamina, reduces stamina cost, and increases stamina recovery rate for 300 seconds

Endurance Injection

  • Uses: 1
  • Enable Time: 4 seconds
  • Increases max stamina, reduces stamina cost, and increases stamina recovery rate for 180 seconds

Stimulants are luxury items and likely won’t feature in your kit until you’re much more comfortable in combat. Still, these injectors bestow powerful buffs and are worth using in the right situation.

There’s a lot to take in with the healing system in Arena Breakout Infinite, but it gives you plenty of options. If you remember to use Painkillers first and disengage, you can take all the time you need to administer the correct treatments.

A Case is the safest place to store your medical items, but it comes at a premium. Make sure you learn how Cases work before you spend, as you can’t keep your purchase forever.
