During SteamWorld Heist 2‘s campaign, you’re tasked with hunting down and collecting Glow Rods from various zones in the Great Sea. To save you a ton of time searching the entire map from top to bottom, this guide covers the location of every Glow Rod.

Glow Rod: North Sea

The first Glow Rod is directly behind you in Glacier Gulf after the opening dialogue of the Nuclear Materials mission. Dive into the green pool and interact with the sunken box to collect a Glow Rod. Nice and easy!

Glow Rod: Frozen Fjords

The Glow Rod in Frozen Fjords is located in the Boom and Bust mission. Make your way through the mission until you reach the room with the Epic Swag. Just before the door, you’ll notice a target below the floor. Hit this to open a door in the middle of the level.

Backtrack to the door in the center of the level (shown above), pick up the Glow Rod, and then successfully escape the mission.

Glow Rod: Angler’s Reef

The Glow Rod in Angler’s Reef is located in the Royal Navy Intel HQ mission. Toward the end of the level, you’ll find a target guarded by a Navy Shotgunner. Shoot the target, then enter the newly unlocked door to find the Epic Swag containing the Glow Rod.

Glow Rod: Titan’s Drain

Visit the Faucet in Titan’s Drain and talk to the Hooded Figures in the bottom left. They’ll hop aboard your submarine, give you a Glow Rod, and reveal their secret identities. Finally!

Glow Rod: Shiner’s Cove

In Shiner’s Cove, typically to the West, you’ll find a ship glowing green due to your tracking device. Destroy it and pick up the chest to collect the Shiner’s Cove Glow Rod. If you’re struggling to find the ship, make sure to listen carefully to the Geiger counter as you sail the area.

Glow Rod: East Caribbea

The final Glow Rod requires you to gain 15 reputation with East Caribbea. Once you’ve made a name for yourself as a pirate of the Caribbea, enter the locked room below the band in The Royal Blue to receive the Piston’s Palace Key.

Complete the mission highlighted on the map and defeat Piston (don’t forget to steal his hat!), then grab the Epic Swag and escape to collect the Glow Rod.

Once you’ve collected all six Glow Rods, end the day at a bar to continue the campaign into the game’s final location, where things get even tougher. Make sure your Crewmates are leveled up and equipped with the best abilities before you take the dive. Good luck!
