The Firebomb Hellpods Booster in Helldivers 2 activates when you land the Hellpod, igniting the ground around you and burning everything surrounding your landing spot. The fire that the Hellpod creates damages everything in proximity, including enemies, teammates, and yourself. Essentially the Firebomb Hellpods booster turns your Hellpod into a deadlier weapon.

Since Terminids are weak to fire damage, the Firebomb Hellpods Booster is most effective when fighting on planets with this enemy type. Fire deals decent damage against Automatons as well, but not as much.

Is the Firebomb Hellpods Booster worth it in Helldivers 2?

Honestly, the Firebomb Hellpods Booster is not worth it in Helldivers 2. I have a couple reasons why I believe this to be true. For starters, the risk of engulfing your teammates in flames and dealing damage to them is high. No one likes a teammate who does friendly fire, and the Firebomb Hellpods Booster makes it really tough not to, especially during objectives in close quarters.

Another reason why the Firebomb Hellpods Booster is not worth it is simply because there are better Booster options available in the game. For example, the Vitality Enhancement and Increased Reinforcement Budget. These are two Boosters that are more beneficial to not only you but also to your squad. It doesn’t make much sense to replace better options with the Firebomb Hellpods.

How many Medals is the Firebomb Hellpods Booster?

The Firebomb Hellpods Booster costs 60 Medals and can be acquired from the third page of the Freedom’s Flame Warbond. The Freedom’s Flame is a premium Warbond, meaning you can purchase it with 1,000 Super Credits or $9.99.
