There are 36 achievements to be unlocked in Botany Manor, and they’re easy enough to be worth doing till completion. Here is how to complete all Botany Manor achievements.
All story achievements in Botany Manor
All of the following achievements for Botany Manor are all accomplished as you play through the story. Upon reaching the end of the game, it will be impossible to have not completed them.
Some of these achievements are listed as secret achievements, but since they are completed through story events, I’ve omitted them from the secret achievement list and added them to this list instead.
If you have yet to complete the game and are struggling, then check out our complete full walkthrough of Botany Manor to help you.

Open the letter lock.
When finishing Chapter Three, you’ll receive a letter telling you how to figure out the code for the Library letter lock. The code is “EAH”.

When beginning Chapter Four, you’ll need to unlock the secret library room to progress.
Sapphire Gloom

The Sapphire Gloom is the first plant you’ll have to grow in Chapter Four.
Who needs a plumber?
Connect all the pipes.
When trying to grow the Brook Chalice in Chapter Four, you’ll have to connect all the pipes to the boiler in the Bathroom. All the pipes fit together like in the image shown.
Brook Chalice
Grow the Brook Chalice.
The Brook Chalice can be grown in Chapter Four.
Cradle Fern
Grow the Cradle Fern.
The Cradle Fern is another Chapter Four plant.
Nightfall
Grow the Nightfall.
The Nightfall is the first plant in Chapter Four, although may be the final one you solve.
Frogger
Find a way to cross the pond.
In Chapter Five, the Grotto is inaccessible. You will need to find the handle by the lawnmower in the Pond Garden. Connect that to the pedestal in front of the Grotto, and you’ll complete this achievement.
Springdance Shrub
Grow the Springdance Shrub.
The Springdance Shrub is a tricky plant to grow in Chapter Five.
Oscilette
Grow the Oscilette.
The Oscilette is a plant in Chapter Five.
Fool’s Emerald
Grow the Fool’s Emerald.
The Fool’s Emerald is likely the last plant you’ll grow in Chapter Five.
Botanical Researcher
Complete all the plants in the Herbarium.
Upon growing the final plant in the game, you’ll unlock this achievement.
The End
Reach the end of the game.
Upon sending your Herbarium off in the post, and after the credits, you’ll be able to play out a final segment. Find your Herbarium on the table to the right of the teaching podium and place it on the stand to complete the game.
Upon reaching the end of the game, you’ll naturally have completed all of these achievements. Don’t forget to consult our full Botany Manor walkthrough if you get stuck.
All secret achievements in Botany Manor
The following Botany Manor achievements range from simple tasks you’ll likely complete unwittingly to harder, more purposeful tasks.
I’ve ordered them from easiest to hardest so you can quickly knock out any you haven’t happened to get yet.
If you’re here for the secret ducks, then you’ll find them at the end. Enjoy!
Take a Break
Sit down on a seat.
There are many seating spaces in Botany Manor. Just choose one of them, be it a couch or a stool, to get this achievement.
Take A Nap
Sit on a garden bench for one minute or more.
Despite the achievement description saying “garden bench,” you can complete this achievement by sitting on any seat for at least a minute.
Let me in!
Shake a locked door.
Throughout the game will be doors that either unlocked from the other side or need a key to be unlocked. Interacting with these doors will give you this achievement. If you’ve completed the game without doing this, you may need to restart to get it.
Piano Woman
Play the harpsichord.
The harpsichord (that looks like a piano) is in the Drawing Room. Interact with it to play it.
Clean and Tidy
Flush the toilet.
In the Bathroom, you’ll find the flush plunger for the toilet. Interact with it to flush the toilet.
Quack Quack
Find a duck.
There are ducks hidden around the game. You must interact with one for this achievement. An easy one to find is the White Duck located on the windowsill in the Vestibule.
In The Bin
Throw a flower in the bin.
Grow a flower until completion, and then toss it into the Compost Bin attached to any potting station for this achievement. I’d recommend going back to the Conservatory to remake the Windmill Wart.
Green Thumbs
Grow the same plant three times or more.
I’d recommend you go back to the conservatory to grow the Windmill Wart as many times as is needed for this achievement. You can keep binning them and growing them again to reuse the same pot.
Art Lover
Inspect Arabella’s paintings.
Arabella is also a painter, and a couple of her paintings can be found through the manor. Here are both Arabella painting locations in Botany Manor:
1. Painting Room.
2. Next to pond in Pond garden.
Upon interacting with these paintings, you’ll unlock the achievement.
Boom
Create a faulty mix of chemicals in the flash lamp.
If you made the Flash Powder perfectly in Chapter Two when growing the Fulguria, then you’ll need to head back to the Apothecary to mix any three incorrect chemicals into the flask (that may still be in the Drawing Room!).
Put the incorrect concoction into the flash lamp and take a picture for this achievement.
Photographer
Take a picture of a flower that’s not the Fulguria.
In Chapter Two, we need to take a picture of the Fulguria with the Flash Lamp to grow it. For this achievement, take another plant, place it on the dish, and take another picture. You’ll need to make the Flash Powder again for this to work.
Mountaineer
Go to the top of the tower.
The Old Tower has five floors in Botany Manor, although you’ll only ever need to reach the fourth floor for the achievement. Ascend all the way up.
Help?
Signal S.O.S on the telegraph.
Go back to the telegraph (likely still in the Grotto) to signal “S.O.S” in Morse Code. The Morse Code translation is: “… — …“
In other words, hit the left dial three times, then the right dial three times, then finally the left dial three times for this achievement.
Flower Arranging
Place a plant on every saucer in the flower room.
The Flower Room, next to the Vestibule (first room of the manor) has 12 dishes that you can place plants on. You could place all of the plants you’ve made in the game on them, or you could place 12 WIndmill Warts on them if you’re in a hurry.
Quack Quack Quack Quack!
Inspect all the ducks.
There are five ducks in Botany Manor that are spread throughout the game. You must inspect them all to get this achievement.
Here are all the duck locations in Botany Manor:
1. White Duck. On the windowsill of the Vestibule.
2. Porcelain Duck. In the Servants Hall in the china cabinet.
3. Tufted Duck. In the Priest Hole on the chest by the entrance.
4. Mallard Duck. In the Attic on the crates.
5. Egyptian Goose. Outside the Boathouse on the boxes next to the potting station.
With all these achievements done, you’ll have 100% completed Botany Manor. Pat yourself on the back and move on to the next challenge.
