Best Ultimate Team packs to buy in EA College Football 25

Build your team with the best players.

Ultimate Team has made its way to the collegiate scene with EA College Football 25, and while the game may have much more to offer in its other modes than Madden, a ton of people are still into the fantasy of opening packs and building their own custom teams throughout the year. Not all CUT packs are created equal in NCAA 25, though, and you can get a headstart on your account if you choose the right ones when you’re just starting out.

These are the best value packs to get in EA College Football 25 Ultimate Team. While you can earn some of these by saving up your coins, most of them require premium currency to obtain.

  • Daily Recruit Pack
  • Starter Pack (Offense)
  • Rare Platinum Pack
  • Junior Bundle
  • Base Booster Pack

Daily Recruit Pack

The Daily Recruit Pack only costs 100 Coins, so there’s really no reason to avoid it. Yes, it only contains a selection of low-rated players for the most part, but you can get lucky and obtain some decent players for basically nothing. At the very least, you’ll get someone who will help you complete a set or a player that you can quicksell for Training.

Starter Pack (Offense)

The Starter Pack (Offense) costs 2,200 Points, but it’s worth it for those who are willing to pay for a huge jump in their team’s rating. It contains the following players with a mixture of 11 Uncommons and six Rares.

  • 1x 83 OVR Player
  • 1x 82 OVR Player
  • 2x 80 OVR Players
  • 3x 79 OVR Players
  • 2x 78 OVR Players
  • 4x 77 OVR Players
  • 2x 76 OVR Players

You have a choice between a balanced set of players, a pass-oriented set of players, or a rush-oriented set of players. Choose the one that best fits your playstyle. It’s a good idea to avoid the balanced pack and go for either the pass or run set, though, just so your team can really excel in one area for offense.

Rare Platinum Pack

The Rare Platinum Pack is a decent bang for your buck. For 2,800 Points, you’ll get the following players with four Uncommons and one Rare.

  • 4x 78+ OVR Players
  • 1x 80+ OVR Players

If you want the best of the best, then Platinum Packs are the way to go. With most CUT packs, the 80+ OVR player is really the only highlight. With the Rare Platinum Pack, you still get that, but the usual filler trash is replaced by four 78+ OVR players who will be great fits on your team.

Junior Bundle

It’s an incredibly expensive pack, but the Junior Bundle is the best way to guarantee a huge power boost to your team as long as you’re willing to whale. For 11,500 points, you can get the following players.

  • 5x Junior Packs
    • 15x Uncommon Players
    • 6x Rare players
  • 1x 80 OVR+ Player

The five Junior Packs included in this bundle will already get you an incredibly strong roster for your CUT account, so the guaranteed 80+ OVR player is just the cherry on top. If you’re going to buy multiple packs anyway, just get the Junior Bundle for the best value.

Base Booster Pack

If you still have some Points to spend, then the Base Booster Pack is a great way to up your team’s rating without breaking the bank. Priced at just 500 Points, it contains the following players.

  • 1x 80+ OVR BND Rare Player
  • 2x 73+ OVR Uncommon Players
  • 2x 70+ OVR Uncommon Players

You’re really just paying for the 80+ OVR here, but one good pull can transform your team if you get the right player. If you’re going to purchase Points to buy packs, though, you should really prioritize the bigger bundles over this one.

You can still build a decent Ultimate Team roster without spending any money, but these are the best packs that you should buy if you do decide to spend. EA College Football 25 has some difficult challenges and matchups in CUT, so you’ll need to be prepared with a solid set of players.
