EA Sports College Football 25 brings college football back to PlayStation and Xbox for the first time in a decade, but in typical EA Sports fashion, there are some server issues affecting certain modes due to the influx of players.

While most EA Sports CFB 25 issues can be solved with quick fixes, there’s one bug in particular that can basically disable an entire game mode. Some players are unable to start a new Dynasty mode save file because the options between online and offline Dynasties say “Lorem Ipsum,” which is placeholder text. There’s seemingly no way to get past the Lorem Ipsum screen, so what can you do if you want to play Dynasty mode in EA Sports College Football 25?

How to fix the Lorem Ipsum Dynasty error in EA CFB 25

When you try to play Dynasty mode in EA Sports College Football 25, you may get stuck at the Dynasty Type screen with a choice between a set of placeholder icons and text that reads “Lorem Ipsum.” Thankfully, there’s a very easy fix for this issue.

If you see the Lorem Ipsum bug in EA Sports College Football 25 when trying to play Dynasty mode, all you have to do is play the game offline. Completely disconnect from the internet in the system settings of your PlayStation or Xbox console and then boot up EA Sports CFB 25. This will let you start an offline Dynasty and get past the Lorem Ipsum screen.

Unfortunately, this fix only works with players who own the full EA Sports College Football 25 game. If you’re using the 10-hour trial available with an EA Play or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, then you won’t be able to play the game offline since it needs to verify your subscription when you boot up the game.

The Lorem Ipsum Dynasty bug in EA Sports College Football 25 is a result of server problems, so you should be able to select an offline Dynasty with cloud saves soon after things stabilize. If you’re dead set on creating an online cloud-enabled Dynasty, then you’ll just have to be patient.

Some people can’t even play the game right now during early access because of server issues, so you’ll just have to be okay with being able to access EA Sports CFB 25 at all.
