Further ‘Kinect For PC’ Claims Surface

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

Barely a fortnight goes by without a new ‘Kinect is coming to the PC’ hint, and the latest suggestion is that Microsoft is readying a Software Development Kit (SDK) and driver support.
This unofficial and totally unconfirmed suggestion comes from WinRumours who, as the name indicates, are just dealing in rumour here.
That said, even Microsoft’s own Steve Ballmer has teased Kinect support for the PC, so it should only be a question of time.
According to WinRumours, “Microsoft is set to unveil driver support and an SDK in the coming months and will allow third-party developers to create titles that utilize the Kinect sensor when plugged into a PC.”
I’m looking forward to the flood of dance-fitness titles already (just kidding – what I really want to do is play Football Manager with motion controls.)
