How to complete the Stitching event in Destiny 2

The clock is ticking.

There are many cryptic events and challenges available once you beat the Final Shape campaign. One of those is required for the Pathfinder, so let me show you how to complete the Destiny 2 Stitching event.

When you unlock the Pale Heart Pathfinder, one of the first available nodes tasks you with completing the Stitching event. The issue is that you’re not told what it is, and you’ll only stumble across it by chance.

To start the Stitching event, head to The Landing in the Pale Heart. When you arrive, walk forward and around the corner to the right (pictured above).

You’re looking for a chest with an orange glow surrounded by thorns. I’m unsure if this chest location is random, but it’s quite distinct. You can activate the chest to start the Stitching event when you see the prompt.

To complete the event, you must stand underneath several columns of orange light scattered across the Landing. There are at least ten, and they are all visible from a distance as the beams shine into the sky. You should be able to see the columns easily, but you must be fast as you only have 90 seconds to reach them all.

As the time constraint is fairly strict, I recommend running to the drop zone and sweeping the area as you descend the hill.

The Stitching event is doable as a solo player, but it’s even easier with a friend as you can split up and cover more ground.

Once you’ve hit every column, you’ll see a prompt saying you’ve completed the Pathfinder node. Make sure you return to the chest to grab your rewards. I’m unsure of the loot pool, so your results may vary, but I got an Epic rare weapon, a Memory Vestige consumable, and about 500 Glimmer. There’s nothing to write home about, but it’s worth it for the Pathfinder node.

With so much going on in the Final Shape, it’s easy to forget about the Hunter’s Journal. This Artifact can open some fantastic weapon synergies and bonuses, so it’s worth checking out.
