Nothing to make things harder than a bit of RNG, and Wuthering Waves does this particularly well. Here is how to get the “Do You Believe in Light” trophy or achievement in Wuthering Waves.
Wuthering Waves: How to get the “Do You Believe in Light” achievement
The “Do You Believe in Light?” achievement is one of the many achievements found under the Trophy menu in the Voices category – and the Echo collection tab. While the description reads “What on earth is that twinkling thing..” – becoming the most cryptic achievement ever – the way you complete it is pretty straightforward: locate and absorb a Phantom Echo in the wild, which is easier said than done. Let’s take a look at all the Phantom Echoes currently available in Wuthering Waves.
All Phantom Echoes in Wuthering Waves
Phantom Echo | Echo Cost | How to Get |
---|---|---|
Phantom Hoartoise | 1 | Found in Tolling Stream or Thorny Passage. |
Phantom Rocksteady Guardian | 3 | Found in Withering Frontline. |
Phantom Feilian Beringal | 4 | Purchased from the Adversity Exchange store for 120 Hazard Records after obtaining a total of 1,200 Hazard Records. |
Phantom Thundering Mephis | 4 | Purchased from the Simulation Training Store for 300 Data Sets after obtaining a total of 2,500 Data Sets. |
Phantom Mourning Aix | 4 | Purchased from the Adversity Exchange store for 300 Data Sets after obtaining a total of 3,500 Data Sets. |
Phantom Impermanence Heron | 4 | Purchased for 400 Illusion Specimens after defeating the Impermanence Heron in Difficulty IV. |
There are two different Phantom Echoes you can come across during your travels: the Phantom Hoartoise and the Phantom Rocksteady Guardian. While the first one is apparently more commonly found by players all around the world – found in Thorny Passage or Tolling Stream -, reports are saying the the Phantom Hoartoise does not count toward the achievement. So, Phantom Rocksteady Guardian it is! You will find it in Withering Frontline just south of the Tempest Mephis Boss fight location.
Take into account that spawning a Phantom Echo in the wild will be completely randomized, but the location above is the best location to look for one whenever the daily reset occurs. Here is a list of all the Phantom Echoes you can find in the game, and, as you can see, there are others you can get by collecting challenge currencies in the game and accessing the Store from the Terminal menu. I hope RNG works in your favor!
