Gatekeeper: How to unlock all Gatekeepers
There are a total of seven different Gatekeepers. These are the playable characters in Gatekeeper that you will get to choose and experiment with throughout your runs. Each of them will feature different skills, making sure that every player finds unique playstyles that will allow them to survive all four Gatekeeper planets and their locations.

| Pandora | Activate Apotheosis. This device will appear after 12 locations in Normal mode and 10 rounds in Arena, which will end the run for both modes and unlock Pandora. |
| Bastion | Find Dawnbreaker. Dawnbreaker can be found at the northmost part of Runewood, on planet Aurora. It is the first planet you visit, and while every location is randomized, you can restart your run until you get it. Then, spend 10 Omni Stones to activate Dawnbreaker and unlock Bastion. |
| Tech Hunter | Visit the Aurora planet twice per run. This can be achieved if you choose to continue your run by interacting with the Quorium after stage 12. |
| Mediator | Pass a total of 60 locations. Now, before you rage quit, this is accumulative, meaning that you can complete 60 locations across multiple runs. |
| Echo | Activate the capsule with Echo. Echo is located in Barren Basin, on the planet of Aridune – the last planet in the run. You will need to activate all engines found across the stage in order. You will know you’ve activated the correct engine if it remains on. |
While it is possible to unlock all characters in a single run — which would require you to survive 60 locations, which is an extremely hard thing to do — you will probably end up achieving this through multiple rounds.
Mediator will probably end up being your last unlock. This is because each complete run of 12 stages takes about 30 minutes to complete. Take that into account before you wonder why he isn’t popping into the character selection screen. If you gather Omni Stones, be sure to use them to unlock new artifacts so you can have a better chance of surviving your runs!
