Story missions

Unlike Gates, the most efficient way to earn yourself more Essence Stones in Solo Leveling: Arise is by completing story missions and chapters. Within each chapter are numerous missions you can complete, and apart from the main story chapters are the side stories.

The majority of the missions you complete reward you with around 50 Essence Stones. Since there are plenty of missions per chapter, you should be able to earn yourself a plethora of Essence Stones just by playing the main campaign.

Hunter Archive

The Hunter Archive allows you to play short story missions with different Hunters. The first one available is with Lee Joohee, and just by completing one story, I’m able to claim 50 Essence Stones.

With there being five story missions in this chapter for Joohee, you can earn up to 250 Essence Stones right then and there. There are numerous other Hunter Archives to unlock, but you have a limited amount of Keys to spend to unlock new stories.
