Moonstone Axe high-damage build
According to the streamer Syrobe, this is one of the most OP Hades 2 builds as it got him all the way to the final boss Chronos. Using the Moonstone Axe, Syrobe created a high-damage fast-attacking build. Here’s how it’s recreated:
- Aphrodite Boons
- Glamour Gain (LV. 2): In each Encounter, one foe is always Weak. You gradually restore Magick near Weak foes.
- Sweet Surrender: Weak-afflicted foes take more damage.
- Healthy Rebound: Whenever you exit a Location, restore 100% Life if you have not lost too much.
- Poseidon Boons
- Flood Control: After you enter a Location, Prime 30 Magick to reduce any damage you would take.
- Double Up: Whenever you claim a Minor FInd or similar resource reward, a copy may appear.
- Wave Flourish: Your Specials hit with a splash that knocks other foes away.
- Arachne dresses
- Emerald Dress: Don a +50 Armor Outfit that makes you restore two Life whenever you exit a Location.

As I’ve put my blood, sweat, and tears into playing through Hades 2, I have a build of my own that I would recommend to any player struggling to make it through the dungeons. I personally love the Witch’s Staff since it can deal with mid-range attacks and is faster than most weapons. Here’s which Boons I recommend:
- Aphrodite Boons
- Healthy Rebound: Whenever you exit a Location, restore 100% Life if you have not lost too much.
- Arachne dresses
- Azure Dress: Don a +40 Armor Outfit that makes you restore five Magick every Sec.
- Emerald Dress: Don a +50 Armor Outfit that makes you restore two Life whenever you exit a Location.
- Artemis Boons
- First Blood: Foes with at least 80% Life or 80% Armor may take Critical damage.
- Death Warrant: A random foe occasionally becomes Marked. If it takes Critical damage, this repeats.
- Chaos Boons
- Paralyzing Blood: For the next four Encounter(s), whenever you take damage, you are stunned for 0.9 Sec. Afterward, whenever you exit a Location, restore 20 Life.
- Excruciating Will: For the next 5 Encounters, you take +33% damage. Afterward, restore 8.5 Magick every 1 Sec.

Sister Blades fast-attacking build
Retromation on Youtube shared the incredible build that gave him a huge boost in Max Life and Max Magick. It also allowed him to attack with his Sister Blades faster, as well as Channel quickly. Since this was created during the technical test it only got him to Hecate in Erebus, but it’s still worth trying out.

- Total Eclipse: Your Hex blasts the target area for 1,000 damage after four Sec.
- Hestia Boons
- Flame Strike: Your Attacks inflict Scorch.
- Fire Extinguisher: Foes with at least 300 Scorch take a burst of damage that consumes the effect.
